Bearsted & District Local History Society was formed on 15 May 1936.  Apart from two enforced ’pauses’ (for WWII and more recently, Covid) it has continued ever since – well over seven decades.

The Society meets at the Memorial Hall in Manor Rise, Bearsted at 7.30pm on the last Friday of each month from September to November and January through to May.  We have a varied programme of speakers.

Members pay a modest annual subscription.  New members are welcome.
