#FindsFriday: Illustrating the Ozengell Early-Medieval collection

It's #FindsFriday!

Our student placement Holly has been hard at work illustrating more of our Ozengell Early-Medieval collection.

The #illustration process involves Holly making an initial pencil drawing at scale before blowing the image up by 200% on our scanner. This larger image is then inked in and stippled to provide shading and detail. This detailed image is then scanned in before Holly tidy's up any distortion on a computer graphics software.

Holly's placement through the University of Reading is just beginning so do keep an eye on our social media platforms for more updates!
