The Society has other grant programmes. Fieldwork grants may be obtained from the Fieldwork Committee and applications should be sent to its secretary David Bacchus.

The Society’s Kent Local History Fund makes grants to assist with serious research leading to publication. They are only made to societies affiliated to the KAS or the Kent History Federation and members of those societies or the KAS. Professional historians and postgraduate students are not eligible to apply. Application forms can be obtained from Miss E. Melling.
