Loomweight, Neolithic to Bronze Age
A large clay loomweight excavated from a Neolithic to Bronze Age site in Faversham. Recorded by the Society Curator on 21st July 2023 as a test using Polycam.

Chatham Riverside Casemates
Three casemates (room from which cannons can be fired) located at the south west corner of Chatham Library and Community Hub, Dock Road, Chatham. The casemates form part of the ‘Chatham Lines at Chatham Gun Wharf known as the Barrier Ditch’ which was constructed in the early 19th Century.

The Cave Of The Seven Heads, 1833, Ingress Abbey
An early 19th Century garden folly associated with nearby Ingress Abbey. Located under the Kent Fastway, on the east side of The Dell housing estate, Greenhithe, Kent. The stone arch now only has 6 heads (one missing to left side) and leads to a cavern beyond the gate. The Historic England listing states, “grotesque heads which possibly came from the medieval London Bridge”.
Salt Lane Air Raid Shelters, Cliffe
A pair of Second World War air raid shelters in the bushes on the inside of the bend in Salt Lane just before it reaches the RSPB car park, Cliffe, Kent.
