Stuart Bligh was formerly County Archivist for Kent and Head of Research and Information at the National Maritime Museum. He is currently working as an independent heritage consultant and researcher. He is also involved in a major cataloguing project relating to a Kent shipbuilding business as a curator emeritus for the maritime museum. He co-edited Maritime Kent Through the Ages which was supported by the KAS and published by Boydell in 2021.
