#FindsFriday: Frankish ceramic bottle

It's #FindsFriday!

On Monday 20th May I gave a presentation to Isle of Thanet Archaeological Society on the work the KAS have been carrying out on the Ozengell Anglo-Saxon collection. This was a well attended event with over 30 IOTAS members and some non-members in attendance.

I brought with me a selection of objects from the collection, all wonderfully conserved by CSI: Sittingbourne!

One of my favourites is a #Frankish ceramic bottle which would have been imported into Kent. It is in near perfect condition and, thanks to the bequest of Derek Gray I have been able to 3D scan it - https://www.kentarchaeology.org.uk/models/oz3108

You can see the rest of our 3D models on our new website: https://www.kentarchaeology.org.uk/models

I hope to be able to scan much more of our collection in due course!
