Uncovering life in Front Brents

The Faversham Creek Trust & Kent Archaeological Society will be undertaking, subject to approval by Swale Borough Council, a five-day community archaeological investigation of Front Brents, Faversham. The open land adjacent to The Albion Taverna, a 19th-century pub was formerly the site of tenement buildings along both Front Brents and Church Road. The community investigation running over the course of Faversham Society’s Open Faversham Festival from Saturday 24th May – Sunday 1st June will seek to uncover the foundations of these properties and reveal evidence of the occupants who once called them home.
